2020/21 Season

For the 2020/21 season, Stats Zone will cover Premier League matches only. I recognise this is a large reduction in coverage compared to previous seasons and that you may no longer be able to use the app to follow your favourite league or team. Nobody is more disappointed about that than I am.

As context, Stats Zone is an independently funded and run app by me (Colm). There are no rich investors involved, just a guy working from home. Since relaunching in 2018, the app’s data suppliers Opta have generously offered favourable commercial terms but unfortunately those terms are no longer available.

Stats Zone is now in its tenth year. I’m proud of that longevity and of course want to continue to offer you a unique product and alternative to the boilerplate live score apps out there. The product has been through difficult transitions before. This is a backwards step but I appreciate your support and I’ll be working to find a sustainable path for the app’s future.
